  Counter staff are pleasant at Rue De pres, unfortunately the price of postage has increased dramatically to the UK and ridiculously it has doubled in 2024 for international mail. This is purely greed and with the taking over of DHL can only be described as monopolizing of postal services and holding Jersey customers to ransom. The ombudsman should be informed of these practices.Uk to Jersey post costs are reasonable so why is Jersey Post not?

  Staff in here are beyond rude. Actually very sad that we have 0 choice but to use Jersey Post because the service you get is shocking. My local post office at pontac has been shut for two months now (staff shortages...) so ive been using rue des pres and the staff are so unhelpful it's beyond belief. Think cracking a smile in here is against the law!

  Not the friendliest postal workers at Rue De Pres front desk and one member of staff is like a mini hitler!. I have only had a smile and chat with one friendly gentleman who is new I think .I use your service a lot but I’m afraid customer service is rather unfriendly and uncomfortable at times.It’s not a one off and I’m all for being kind and polite but I have to brace myself if I’m honest collecting my parcels that have not been deliverable . Kindness and politeness with a smile goes along way. I know in my line of work as much as life can be hard that manners cost nothing. Perhaps management could raise this going forward. If there was competition over here I’d not use Jersey Post but we are all held to ransom and appear to be seen as a non human and with zero friendliness by many of your customer facing Rue De Pres Staff. It makes me very anxious and very uncomfortable if truth be told 😔

  I sent a parcel from grande marche to UK just under £15, 2 days later arrived at my home in St saviours, jersey post staff got confused and sent to the from address on customs label. I would have thought that being able to tell the difference between to and from would have been the minimal requirement for working at a post office. This is the second time this has happend In a year. Most expensive post with worst service.

  Terrible attitude today. Yes I arrived at 1302, that is two minutes past closing time and the man at the door had it wide open just to bark at me that they closed at 1300 and he refused to help. I could see people cueing inside to post packages and all I had was to pick up a package which is the shortest time consuming acitivity at the post office. We were stuck in terrible traffic and he could have been kinder and understanding and contributed to making the world a better place by being nice and having an opportunity to conduct an act of kindness. It would not have opened the floodgates for I was the only one there to pick up a package. Instead he insisted at the closure time and was rather unfriendly. In life we need to pause and reflect on our purpose in life and not be fixated on rules to feel powerful but instead feel powerful because we have brightened up the day of another. It's a cultural thing on one hand for in Canada I'm sure service would have been much better but it also a mindset - and that man is a miserable person who rather enjoyed making others miserable too
