  Having had a torturous weekend with a broken tooth, i was booked in for Monday, with Louisa. She recommended extraction, the tooth was removed, unfortunately part snapped off, and is still in. She told me it would come out in time, and i would have to revisit to have it removed from gum. I was charged 274£ for x ray and extraction When i told my family they were in disbelief, as i could have gone to a different clinic, and it would have cost less than 80£. I was so upset, and i honestly thought i had maybe paid someone else's bill by accident. I returned to clinic and spoke to Louisa, who was quite rude, she said what did i expect her to do about it?! and said she could have also charged me consultation, and emergency care! Which is ridiculous as i was in the chair for less than 15, minutes, and it was s pre booked appointment. I was charged over 3 Times the going rate for an extraction with no complications, (apart from the snapping of my tooth root) my family and i are very upset, and unfortunately i cant/wont return, when i have complications from my broken root, as i could get over charged again. Very disappointed, and still sore.

  After arriving in Jersey on Friday evening I had the most unbearable toothache all night, I rang Jersey Dental Care first thing in the morning and Peter arranged for me to come straight in. He was extremely reassuring as I am a very nervous patient. He talked me through every stage of the treatment, which was completely painless!! After the appointment my pain was completely gone and I went on to have a lovely day in Jersey. I am very grateful to Peter for seeing me immediately and saving my weekend break , I would highly recommend.
