  Booked in for 2 nights January, arrived at 8 on the night front door locked, got in through the restaurant at side (this being sub let off the hotel ?) A waitress showed us to our room which was freezing (she switched an oil filled radiator on). We went out straight away for a pre booked meal. Returning later the room was still freezing, blankets an coats on the bed took me back 50 years. In the morning cool shave then no shower as the water was cold plus once on the shower could not be turned off. There wasn't any staff in the hotel to speak about the situation. Caroline in the restaurant was told of the room situation she could move us to another room with 3 oil filled radiators. Upon which we decided to move to another hotel. Plus point for the hotel location. Minus points should not be open in the winter, should have hot water, should have a contact to speak to. After 12 days got a full refund, after speaking to Alex it would appear the problem re the refund was down to Booking. Com.

  This is a quirky restaurant which serves great food. There is a large menu, from Breakfast, to Dinner, with options for every diet. It's dog friendly too, which is a bonus. It can be a little chilly, so take an extra layer, or a blanket, but it's a must for anyone on Jersey - the best chicken burger on the rock!

  I’d say it’s quite expensive for what it is although breakfast was good. Shower in room 10 almost impossible to turn on and off. And plastic flowers absolutely everywhere! Public areas look like they’ve been recently refurbished c/o Ikea, which isn’t really to my taste.

  Really lovely place to stay! Our host was super nice and welcoming, the room was airy and clean, you get an excellent free breakfast (one of the beat I've had anywhere!) and the staff are very nice. The location is great as it's close to the coast and to Mont Orgueil Castle. Would recommend!
