  Hotel well appointed in St Hellier. Within easy walking distance to the town centre. Staff very polite and helpful. Hotel immaculately clean. Food was tasty although somewhat repetitive and we had a few issues with the heating. However, after speaking to the hotel manager regarding these issues, he did all he could to accommodate our requests and was very helpful. Pool was too cold for use to use at this time, but looked lovely and always kept clean.

  Fantastic overnight stay. Rooms were lovely and exceptionally clean. The meal at the 1840 was beyond our expectations; beautifully presented; great tasting and staff fantastic. After the meal we listened to live music on the bar . Overall a great evening. Breakfast is served buffet style; plenty of choice. Cooked choice of beans, tomatoes, mushrooms bacon sausage and eggs. Will definitely visit again

  If you like sleep then DON’T stay here. Quite possibly one of the noisiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in! (Room 91 for context) All the hotel room doors slam shut really loudly. The outside of room 91 is a hard floor, so you hear every footstep of everyone walking past. Something is wrong with the windows in the room as you could hear the wind whistle most of the night. The person in the room above us had a great night. Took a shower at 1:30am when they got back, took a pee the length of which was astounding (if you are reading this you should see a doctor.) and we were even treated to his digestive pyrotechnics. There was so much light pollution from outside the room, it was like Blackpool illuminations. On the positive side food was great, staff are friendly (mostly) and thankfully the coffee is strong!
