  Pleasant stay with convenient access to St. Brelade bay. Nice staffs, good food.

  Lage am Strand ist sehr schön, aber sonst gibt es einiges zu bemängeln. Es ist ein älteres Haus das bemerkt man z. B. im. Badezimmer.... Duschvorhang.. Laute Lueftung.... Teppichboden ist nicht der neueste Frühstück nicht abwechslungsreich... Zimmer zum Meer hatten wir leider nicht.....das haette wahrscheinlich einiges entschädigt. Keine Empfehlung fuer golden Sand. Das Preisleistungverhaeltnis stimmt nicht.

  This is day 6 of a 7 day visit, and I'm pleased to say that the hotel is excellent, and my room very comfortable. I was in a single room, which was more than big enough for me. The double bed was comfortable and the pillows were exceptional - a major plus for me. Bathroom was spotless and the shower excellent - always set at the correct temperature. The staff (throughout the hotel) are very friendly, and were most helpful on the few occasions that I sought advice. My room was serviced every day and towels changed daily. Tea, coffee, milk etc. was replenished every day and I never wanted for a cuppa. My only 'gripe is that the walls are 'thin' and a neighbour playing their tv - even at a reasonable sound level - will be a significant disturbance. St Brelade is quite beautiful with a wonderful beach and some nice restaurants, but there is little else, so be prepared to visit the sights (or the local hostelries) during the day. There is a bus stop 50 metres from the hotel and the Liberty buses run frequently - and on time. All in all a nice break. I would heartily recommend the Golden Sands.
