  One of the finest beer gardens in Europe; there is no other place where you can sit back and relax in the sweltering channel island heat while appreciating the soothing tones of rattling Iceland trolley wheels and purring car engines whilst mummas purchase monster munch in bulk. With regards to entertainment, the highlight and the Tiv's own little niche offering has to be the down right banterful 'Sticky 13s'. Every international football break, the Masterful Mr M comperes the tri-monthly event involving a bingo style card game in which competitors battle it out to win the cash prize. Quite honestly some of the most fun I've ever had in a pub. The thrift is one of the best communities in the Channel Islands, with outstanding bonuses and locals often building quite the cheeky end of year retirement find; I know I appreciated my all expenses paid business class trip to the over night sheep racing in Sark. And my mate Dave still hasn't been able to walk right since. The kitchen offers a range of classic entertainment related cuisine, from locally influenced Bean Crock and fish cakes on darts and bridge night to hot dogs and chip burgers during Celtic games. They used to do a savage arrangement of breakfasts; from the square sausages of Scotland to the eclectic eggs of England, ceasing due to the rapidly evolving competition of other local offerings. So If you want to try a real pub experience you don't want to miss this place; this is a true working man's pub with a real local atmosphere, whether you're a member of the Monday morning club or Friday evening social, there's something for everyone at the Tiv.
