  My wife and I spent 9 days at millbrook house in may 2018 for my 60 th birthday.So sorry to hear of the owners passin g shortly after our stay.Our thoughts are with all that knew him Chris and Susan Bean of Darlington

  Regrettably Millbrook House hotel is closed now due to the recent death of the owner, George Pirouet. He will be sadly missed by many people who have stayed at Millbrook. Home from home - Friendly and welcoming. No noisy entertainment and no pool - just peace and tranquility. Love it!!

  On arrival a was greeted by a true gent and the theme followed for all the staff. Nice tidy room, clean bathroom, hot shower, kettle, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, biscuits, wine, bottled water, good breakfast and a nice location not far from a main bus route. I would definitely stay again or recommend to a friend.
