  Great pub with friendly locals & lots of real ales Shows all sports live upstairs & down Be wary of jealous nearby pubs writing false reviews

  This was shocking. Popped for a quick drink and headed to the bar. Was told by a customer (localmaybe) to move as they couldn't see the tv. Tried but was little space and nowhere to go while waiting to be served. Told again "seriously you need to move" so we did out of the pub. Won't be back and won't recommend. In fact will make the effort to discourage people to try it out.

  Unfortunately this is not the place for tourists during a rugby match. Not one second after reaching the bar one of the patrons advised me step back. After seeing the television I thought it prudent to heed the advice. But subsequently angered the woman behind me who yelled again almost hitting her drink. When recoiling from that we decided to leave but only to have the original disgruntled patron to advice that seriously I should move out of the way. I cannot tell you if food or drink is any good, only to say that jerseys clientele don't want you want you there.
